    Robberies with Arms or Violence or from the Person
    A warrant has been issued by the Uralla Bench for the arrest of Henry Hunt and George Parker, charged with assaulting Ludwig Glock, at Rocky River, and robbing him of £2 in silver, on the night of the 24th ultimo. Hunt is about 35 years of age, 5 feet 9 inches high, dark complexion, hair and whiskers. Parker is about 30 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches high, slight build, dark hair.     APPREHENSIONS
    George Parker, charged on warrant with assaulting and robbing Ludwig Glock [see Robberies with Arms or Violence], of the sum of £2 (not recovered) has been arrested by Constable Tippett, Uralla Police. Committed for trial at Armidale Circuit Court. p 145

    Henry Hunt, charged on warrant with assaulting and robbing one Ludwig Glock of the sum of 40s on the 24th day of March 1874, has been arrested by Constables Sutherland and Murdock, Uralla Police. Committed for trial at Armidale Sessions, or at such other time and place as the Hon the Attorney General may determine. Bail allowed, - self in £80 and two sureties in £40 each. Sureities not forthcoming. 29 November 1876

    An old resident of the Uralla district, named Gluck, died at the Rocky on sunday night. He had reached an advanced age. The Uralla and Walcha Times, 6 Jun 1883, p. 2

    Death has been our midst, carrying off two persons who have been identified with the locality for nearly thirty yers, viz., Ludwig Gluck, of the rocky (who died from old age: the weary wheels of life stood still at last).
