      Obituary - Mr A Kerr. Alexander Kerr aged 84 years of Bourke Street, Glen Innes died in the Glen Innes District Hospital yesterday.
      Mr Kerr leaves his wife and 2 daughters, Jean (Mrs D Develin, Guyra) and June (Glen Innes). Mr Kerr's first wife predeceased him. Surviving children of that marriage are Ivy (Mr H Townsend, Delungra), Ethel (Mrs G Jarrett, Enmore), Winn (Mrs S House, Armidale), Stella (Mrs P Brennan, Enmore) and Phyllis (Mrs M King, Toowoomba).
      Mr Kerr was predeceased by four brothers and six sisters. He is survived by three sisters, Sarah (Mrs E Morley, Glencoe), Elizabeth (Mrs A Frazer, Brisbane) and Ethel (Mrs C Willbatt, Brisbane). One brother also survives, Robert (Glen Innes)
      The late Mr Kerr lived all his life in the Glen Innes area. For some years he was a carrier in the Mt Mitchell area. He also managed a property at Ward's Mistake. He retired and came to Glen Innes 12 years ago.
      The funeral will take place in the Presbyterian portion of the Glen Innes Cemetery today following a service in the Cameron Memorial Church at 2:30 p.m.
      RT Lightfoot and Co are in charge of the funeral arrangements.
