      Obituary James Ryan
Mr James Ryan, 76, of The Grange, Uralla, died in Armidale Hospital on Monday last. He was the youngest son of the late Mr and Mrs John Ryan and was born at The Grange. Suffering a disability to an arm throughout life, he never could take an active part in sport, but always was a keen follower of cricket and football and discussions about games and players were always followed with delight. He made one of a circle of pals that is closing rather rapidly these days. Mr Eugene Ryan is a brother and Miss May Ryan a sister of the deceased. A number of relatives and friends attended the funeral at Uralla on Tuesday. Father O’Connor conducted the service. Uralla Times 7 April 1960.
